How many photos will we get?
On average, you will get 75 photos per hour of shooting.
When will we get our photos?
We operate with an utmost focus on quality and that is the one thing we will not compromise on. With that said, our process is quite efficient and you can expect delivery of your images within one to two weeks of the shoot. For weddings during peak season, you can expect your photos back within four weeks with a sneak peak delivered after one week. We can also accommodate rush orders if you are on a tighter timeline. Feel free to discuss your specific needs with us during our initial meeting.
Can we get our photos sooner?
Yes! We offer an expedited service for those who need to have their photos turned around even faster. The service is $500 and you will receive your images within one week of your day!
Do you do destination weddings?
Yes, absolutely! We love to travel and we have shot for clients in many countries on six continents and are comfortable shooting in a variety of environments. We are also culturally sensitive to different customs, laws, and traditions so shooting in another part of the world will be a smooth experience to avoid any unnecessary friction. Whether it's a trip across the country or a trip around the world, we can be available for almost any job. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss details for any idea you may have!
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured, including coverage to work within national parks. This ensures that both our clients and our team are protected, and that your photography experience is handled with the highest level of professionalism and care.
Are you licensed?
Yes, absolutely—we are licensed to photograph in Banff, Yoho, and Jasper National Parks, as well as in Alberta’s provincial parks. Additional permits can always be arranged for other locations as needed. Choosing a licensed photographer is essential for your elopement, as it ensures everything is done legally and respectfully within the parks, so you can relax and fully enjoy your day.
Who has copyright for the photos?
The photographer retains copyright over all photographic work and may use images for self-promotion. When you purchase a wedding package, you receive unlimited personal use rights, including making unlimited reproductions for family and friends both online and offline, as well as sharing on social media. For any commercial or promotional use, please get in touch for licensing details.
Can you fly a drone?
Not in the National or Provincial Parks, however, we can fly a drone in any airspace that we are allowed to operate in. Evan holds his Advanced Drone Operator's License and Scott is also certified to fly. We love the added creativity that drone work allows and would love to add that to any wedding package that has a video add-on!
Is it safe to shoot in the mountains?
Shooting in the mountains is not without some risks, but definitely worth the reward. Also, rest assured knowing you are in good hands. Evan has advanced first aid training and is a certified Guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides.
